Minister of Industry Ahmed Zeghdar, inaugurates the new Condor unit for the production of refrigerators in Bordj Bou Arreridj, with a production capacity superior to 400,000 units and the creation of more than 900 new jobs.
Thus, Condor’s refrigerator production capacity will exceed 800,000 units/year, knowing that this product remains the bestseller of export.
CEREMONY OF DELIVERY OF THE OPERATING AUTHORIZATIONS FOR NEW BORDJ BOU ARREIRIDJ UNITS 13 March 2022

Condor benefits from Six new operating authorizations for new production units in Bordj Bou Arréridj.
Five authorizations were issued on behalf of Bordj Steel, a company specialized in the production of steel frames, sandwich panels, galvanizing, etc. a complex that currently offers more than 420 jobs, willing to reach 500 jobs by the end of the year.
The latest approval was granted to the Condor Refrigerators production factory, a new unit that provides 900 new jobs, with a production capacity of 400,000 units per year, bringing Condor’s production to over 800,000 Refrigerators per year, 30% of which is destined for export to African markets.
This same unit, inaugurated two weeks ago by the Minister of Industry, will thus be able to accelerate the pace of production in order to meet the growing demand of foreign markets, buyers of the Condor Refrigerator.
